Noura Bakkar is a 22-year-old Lebanese plastics artist who lives and studies in Beirut. Her work focuses on exploring different media such as painting, illustration, installation, sculpture, and video art. Noura’s interest falls on feminism and gender issues. In her artworks, she portrays the politicization of women’s bodies (cis or trans) through her own experiences as a struggling woman in the Arab world.
