Didi Kamal grew up with an enchanted African childhood, surrounded by dusty grasslands, roaming wildlife and honking, and zooming Matatu’s. She studied art and design in Kenya and South Africa, and currently manages 1x1 Gallery in Dubai’s Alserkal Avenue. Her own work has been displayed at several international art fairs, including Art Dubai. The artist works in a variety of mediums, including oil on canvas, mixed media, photography, and her most recent dabbling, digital illustration mixed with photography.
