Chaza Charafeddine (b. 1964) first explored the field of dance before turning to visual arts and writing. She taught dance in Switzerland and Lebanon. Between 2000 and 2007, she coordinated various exhibitions and artistic events for institutions such as the House of World Culture (HKW) in Berlin (DisOrientation 2003) and the Lebanese Association for Visual Arts, Ashkal Alwan in Beirut. Her novels, Flashback (2012) and Haqibatun Bilkadi Tura (2014), were published at Dar Asaq, Beirut. She has lived and worked in Beirut since 2007.
